What if battles in Dota was developed into mortal Kombat style fighting but kept the framework for all the content the same:

What do I mean keep everything the same? I mean the isometric view, the team vs team battle, the hero skill sets, and just have fight function like the images displayed in this article.

It could add more strategy to the game the only problem is it would make matches take longer.

Another problem with this battle concept is it contains issues with camera angles
